Well, I'm always complaining to family and friends that I don't keep a journal for Katy so this is my best shot. I mean, I'm at the computer all the time, anyway. Why not just take a few minutes to record the precious memories that we can all treasure later, right? Here goes...

Today we were babysitting at a friend's house and Katy had another amazing first: she climbed!! Rock my world! We are in SO much trouble now! Katy walked up to the brick fireplace and climbed right up, then grabbed the butterfly magnets that were stuck to the brass at the top of the fireplace. It just goes to show what we can do when we're properly motivated.

Tomorrow Katy will be 15 months old. TIme flies. I'm 32 and I'm sure Mom and Dad feel like I was just crawling up into their lap. That's why I have to journal. I need to be able to re-live these precious days that are passing by way too fast.

Well, Katy has already had her 15 month dr. appt. and all is well. I just have to brag...she had 2 shots and didn't even cry! Her reward was that we went to Central Park and fed the ducks. I'm going to try posting a couple pics. She is just too gorgeous! The look on her face...priceless! It was like she was finally making a connection between the duck in her tub, the duck in her books, and the real thing. You could really see the wheels turning.

I better test this thing before I go on and on all night about the Nug *short for Nugget alias Nuggetina, Tina Marie, Katybird, The Bird. She has more nicknames than Halloween costumes, and that's saying something!
