Katy has decided that there's a monster in her room. She doesn't freak out, but she calmly takes me by the hand to check for monsters. We lay side by side on her bed and lean over the edge to peek under the bed. Then she says, "Nope, no monsters. We checked." I'm guessing that she is getting this idea from the Monsters, Inc. movie?
And I don't think that I have mentioned here that Allen is a dancer. If the "Tank" (as Amy F. calls him) hears music, he starts bouncing on those little tree trunk legs and smiling. It's so cute! Last night he was hanging onto something and moving one foot and then the other like a really fast Irish river dance. I was just too slow with the video camera. At least Peter witnessed it, too!
Tomorrow is Katy's first dance recital and I am fully expecting her Sweet Pea class of 3 year olds to just stand on the stage and look out at the seniors in the nursing home instead of dancing. I will be 100% shocked if more than one girl is willing to do her "I'm a Little Teapot" routine. Shocked.
