Mama has been busy!! I have been getting all kinds of projects done around the house and it's amazing what hiring other people can do! Or in my mom's case, slave labor. We had our master tub resurfaced, and my only complaint is that it's not as smooth as before. You notice this when you are a bath-taker versus shower.

I ordered some 16x20 prints for the master bedroom and the living room, and Mom and I dragged the kids to Hobby Lobby today for frames. The prints won't arrive until next weekend, but I'm so excited!

The most huge accomplishment is that Mom painted and sealed my counter tops and they look like granite! Sarah picked out the colors and then kidnapped Katybootie last weekend so we could work Bootie-free. I painted the handles and hinges on the cupboards, but I still have 8 hinges to go. They are a major pain! A couple weeks ago I put contact paper on the dishwasher panel to make it look like stainless steel, and then Peter shocked me by agreeing to a new stainless stove. After MUCH effort and education in the different types of stoves (standard vs. drop-in vs. slide-in) plus an electrician, here is the final result:

Booyaw!

Meg it's amazing!! I love how it turned out! I would never have guessed it was a "do it yourself" project either, it looks wonderful. Yay! I can't wait to come see it in person
