Our second Christmas was just fabulous this past weekend. We did the first one with Peter's family while much of mine was in Hawaii. Then phase II was at Mom's house. Uncle John took tons of great photos! I just haven't uploaded them to my computer yet. Katy is claiming that Santa brought all the stuff that she opened this past weekend, even though I told her Santa was "all done" for now. She's in denial. Allen was very good even though he's getting one top tooth on the side of his mouth to go along with the two bottom teeth which are front and center. I have a feeling it's going to make for some pretty funny photos when that snaggle tooth comes in all the way.

On Saturday we had Allen's official finalization party at our home. There was one after the courthouse, and another after the temple, and this was the final one. Then on Sunday we blessed Allen at church. He didn't make a sound and Peter did a great job.

This weekend at Mom's house Katy told Emily and Abby that everything was "mite" which means it was hers. She thinks that since she plays at my Mom's house all the time that those things are hers. What she doesn't know is that almost every toy is either Laura, Meg, Sarah or Amy's. They just don't make 'em like they used to!

Both kids have snotty noses and coughs so I don't think we'll be having any adventures today. That's actually a relief because yesterday was go, go, go all day. I had a dr. appointment in the morning (no, I'm not preggers) and then a lunch date, ran errands and then I had a photo shoot at 5pm, followed by an 8:30pm meeting. We called in all kinds of babysitting favors from the local grannies and pawpaw. I hope Katy clears up in time for her surgery on the 15th.

One final note is that the initial findings on Kathy G's biopsy are cancer-free. They did remove her entire thyroid so she's going to be in a tailspin for a while her body adjusts. Still, I am ecstatic!
