Rain, rain, rain! It started last night around 3am and lasted through much of today. I didn't mind because I didn't have to travel much in it, or look good when I arrived at my destination. In fact, I was carrying Katy under the umbrella and she LOVED the rain. When we pulled into the garage, we didn't even need to get wet. But I stripped Katy down and we played out in the puddles for a couple of minutes. I know...I know...if she gets another cold it's all going to be my fault. She immediately had goosebumps but she just laughed and laughed! Then I brought her into the house and plopped her into a warm tub for one of her favorite things of the day...a bath!
Let's see...not too much going on. I don't know if you've noticed but I love to use and abuse the elipses...these three little dots...that's because I like to write how I hear things in my head. It's either that or writing "uhhhh" a lot so we'll settle for the dots.
I keep checking my friend Joy's blog and she hasn't written on it for days. C'mon. Make an effort. At least she's doing better than my LAME sisters who can't seem to even get one started.
Mom stopped by tonight to show me a surprise she's working on for one of my sisters...I won't name which one. It's a FABULOUS surprise! Ha ha ha! Anywho, she said, "Oh - I know! I'll teach Katy to wink!" and then she winked at Katy. Well, Katy immediately smiled and blinked both her eyes back! Mom was ecstatic! Then I broke the news to her that Uncle Jerry taught Katy that trick a while back. Back to the drawing board. Mom will probably buy an abbacus (sp?) and have Katy counting before she's 18 months old. Let's master the use of the spoon first, shall we?
Two more days until the finale of Project Runway Season 3!! Whoop!
I am totally getting into the mood of Autumn. No, I don't have Halloween decorations up yet. But I did scoop out the litter box so lay off me! If you want to come decorate my house, just promise to come take them down in a couple of weeks, too! I don't want to ring in the New Year with spider webs and Frankenstein candles everywhere.
More later,
Meg
