Tonight was the Season Finale for Project Runway! Wahoo! It was lots of fun to watch. I really don't have any other shows that I'm watching right now. Surprising, I know.

I failed to mention yesterday that I tried (in vain) to teach Katy how to nap in her crib. She cried in there for 55 grueling minutes. I really think it's harder on me than her. Finally she fell asleep but that peace only lasted for about 20 minutes and then the sobbing started again. I scooped her up and pulled her into bed with me, which is the normal routine for her nap. By this time it was after 5:30pm. She was a train wreck with swollen eyes...the works. So I fell asleep with her and didn't wake up until the phone rang at 7:00pm. I jumped out of bed when I realized that three ladies from church were arriving at any minute for a meeting! WHOA! The living room was a mess, too. Anyway, thanks for the 7:00pm phone call...whoever you are. I had to tell this story in case my blog was getting too cheesy. Speaking of cheesy, check out this newspaper clipping. Too cool, huh? Ha ha ha ha!

Today I stopped by Mom's empty house to pick up my pumpkin. After all this rain it was black and moldy - gross! When I touched it with one finger it collapsed and drained its innards all over Mom's back porch. So I took a few shots by that gorgeous oak tree. Katy is sporting an Emily outfit. It was new with tags so thanks, Emily! That hair just kills me! Maybe I'll drop another one on you tomorrow.
