I can see now why updating a blog is too much for Laura and Joy to do. All it takes is throwing too much stuff into one day and the blog gets ignored. Now I know. I will try not to give y'all such a hard time.
Let's see...Katy's molars seem to be coming in so she ends up in bed with us almost every night lately. If only her room wasn't right next to ours.... She was a good sport for the trip to Houston again Friday and played with Emily in Dad's hospital room on Saturday. We put a blanket over a couple chairs to make a house for them, but Katy kept wanting to play with everything Emily picked up. Fuss, fuss, fuss. We took them out for lunch at the outdoor section of the cafeteria and Emily fed the birds Cheetos. Every so often I told her to "feed the pink bird" and Katy's orange-stained fingers would snatch a chip away from Emily. Katy loved following Mimsy around.
Next we left on Sat afternoon and came home for church stuff. More church stuff today but I stopped and read a book for a while just to relax. I'm ignoring the mountain of things I need to do around here. Plus the Gore twinnies are turning 8 next week and I still need to get their gift. Isn't that crazy? It seems like they were just chubby little babies slurping up spaghetti not long ago. They'll be getting baptized on their birthday. So exciting!
I don't have any recent photos downloaded yet from my camera, but I'm sure I've taken some. The Bird is just too cute to not take photos. Maybe I'll add that to my list of things to do.
