Well, I'm doing another catch-up blog today. Yesterday I answered e-mails, visited on the phone and had another "admin" day. My house looks like a twister stopped by and stayed for a week. Let's put it this way. Peter did the dishes last night, even though it was 1:30 in the morning. And he needed to bring dessert to work. He baked cookies ALL BY HIMSELF! Yes, it was from a mix, but that's not the point. I don't ever remember Peter baking cookies. Maybe Marjean could name a time, but I can't. Peter has definitely turned into a bachelor again...poor guy.
Jerry and Kathy picked us up at 5:45pm last night and we drove out to the final championship game of the famous Foster's Washer Pitching Tournament. It was between the innovator of the tournament vs. Jerry and Peter. Guess who won? That's right. Da Brutha's prevailed! They have another trophy to add to the collection. It was cold and Katy kept crying for Peter to hold her, so not exactly great as a spectator sport. Then we went out to a local Mexican restaurant and Katy let Jerry feed her ice and rice. She fell asleep on the way home. She looked sassy in Emily's electric blue jogging suit with a hot pink onsie underneath. Peter even remembered Emily wearing it. And guess what I just realized that I forgot? I didn't even think about bringing a camera and taking pictures. Oh well....
I'm headed to Houston today. Once I see Dad go up the stairs and get around a bit, I'll decide if I'm staying the night there or not.
More later....
