Babies, babies everywhere! Diane M. and Kathy G. both popped their bundles of joy in the past few days! Wahoo! Some virtual play pals for Miss Katybird to play with. Someday she'll text message them via her palm pilot and tell them both what horrible parents we are! Ha! Plus my friend Julia will be popping in a little while. Girlies, girlies...fun, fun, fun!! When are Sarah & Amy going to join the fun?

OK, so I'm going to give the general Katy "flavor" of the past few days. She can repeat a new word upon hearing it for the first time. It's just so exciting!! She runs around yelling "GO!" and pretends to be "Go Diego, Go" from TV. She insists on watching her puppy dog movie (Lady and the Tramp) on the dvd player from Sarah & Keith. She knows it's her player and holds it in her lap, occasionally popping out the disk and looking at it...saying "uh oh" like she doesn't know what happened.

This weekend was great with Jason & Delma. Their kids play so nicely with Miss Bird. Jonah shared his yogurt with her and Requay (who is soooo close to walking) loved Katy's toys. She showed off her new Tickle Me Elmo TMX and we were all impressed! He falls down laughing and then rolls over, pounding the ground, and then stands back up again. Requay and Katy were both a little nervous around him, but Jonah didn't mind!

Plus Chris & Amy stopped by for 30 seconds while they were in town. Amy just can't take a bad photo. We bought Katy a new potty training chair but she thinks it's funny to watch me demo it (not fully!) and just laughs. She won't get on it herself, yet.

Katy's has been fingerpainting with actual paints, and also with her food. Yogurt...pudding...paint...eat some more and then paint some more... She has been very helpful while I am trying to re-do her bedroom. Such a helpful girl.

Tonight Mom & Grandma stopped by for a visit and so Peter could review Mom's taxes. Katy was SO happy to see them! She just loves visitors! Tomorrow I will try to help Dad move into his new apartment. We haven't had that conference call yet with the potential birth parents. Apparently their lives are pretty hectic while they're packing to move to Texas. What a small world.

Alright, I know I'm forgetting some adorable Katy stories but that's all I can do right now. I played around with some digital wings for my little angel. You can hardly tell she wasn't really wearing them!
