I have been a very bad blogger. I'm still taking a blog-cation, but I better get a few things recorded here for journaling purposes before I forget them.
Allen rolled over all by himself! From front to back on 06-13-07 he did it! Wahoo! Peter was the one who witnessed it. What a great Father's Day present. We also took some shots of just Allen with his pappy.

A couple weekends back we went over to Jerry & Kathy's to watch the season finale of '24'. While Peter, Allen and I watched the show everyone else loaded up to go see Kathy's horses...including Katy. Karli brought our camera and caught some amazing shots! Apparently they tried to convince Katy to sit on one of the horses but she refused. When we dressed her for that night, we didn't even know she was visiting the barn...we just happened to put boots on her. When I tried to put her in boots (with her denim mini skirt) yesterday for church, Peter said, "No! I don't want Katy going to church lookin' like Cowboy Ugly!" That's the famous bar where girls dress in skimpy clothes and stomp on the bar wearing boots. She wore sandals, instead.

Katy now loves the church nursery. She kept telling me she "wanna play" yesterday, which meant in the nursery. On Mother's Day they had a gift for me of Katy's photo on a little paper frame. For Father's Day they had Katy make a beaded key chain for Peter. Too cute! She loves snack time the best, I think.
I enjoyed Sarah, Keith, Chris & Amy coming to town, but I wish it didn't have to be for a funeral. Colonel Wilson meant so much to us all. He will be missed! Today is his burial in the military grounds in San Antonio. I wish I could go but that would be 8 hours of someone babysitting for two helpless nuggets and I just can't justify that.
I also have some random pics from the past few days. Katy loves her yogurt sticks when they're frozen. She thinks they're ice cream! And one of my favorite outfits from Allen's shower is this little cowboy number. Simply to die for!
