These are photos from our adventures in the backyard yesterday. It took me an hour to blow up all the different compartments in the pool, but it was soooo worth it! The hand pump was $4 versus the electric at $20. I think I should have bought the electric. I still haven't had the heart to blow up all the inflatable toys that came with the pool.

Katy was a little impatient while she "helped" me blow it up. She pranced around in it and pretended to lay down and take a nap on it. The last thing to be blown up was the elephant slide. She went crazy when she realized what it was! She loves "wheee" slides!

It didn't take long to fill with water while I suited up the nuggets and lathered them up in sun screen. We still haven't bought swim diapers for her this summer so I used a training pull-up, instead. It immediately absorbed about half the shallow end of the play area and had to be removed due to excessive weight. Katy could barely walk in it. Allen is still a loose cannon when it comes to bm's so we can't trust him without a diaper. He's wearing some swim gear that he received as a shower gift. Too cute!

Everything came to a screetching halt when Katy casually walked over and started eating dirt. She is now on a multi-vitamin since Laura suggested that her body may be craving something and prompting her to eat dirt. Maybe she thinks it's chocolate?

More later...

Way to cure Meg. We need to play soon. Kaitlyn would tear it up in your pool area. (She loves water)
