One word....pedicure. What a lovely invention. I was starting to get "country" feet and it was driving me crazy. I feel much better now.

Well, Katy has to wear a sticker over her eye for two hours every day and it breaks my heart, but she's adjusting to it. I just wish I could explain her "boo boo" to her because she doesn't feel like she has one. Peter came up with the idea of distracting her with trail mix and that has been working like a charm. After she goes under general anesthetic on August 3rd we should know more about future treatments.

Allen wore a little blue onsie with a happy lobster on it today. The lobster is wearing a necktie that sticks out and Katy kept laughing at it. Ruth gave it to him and it cracks me up because it says "snappy dresser" and the lobster has his little snappy claws. Katy has been watching Finding Nemo and she pointed at Allen's lobster, then pointed at the little crab on tv. Allen should always wear entertaining clothes because he LOVES having Katy lean over him and laugh!

Miss Bird has a dangerous new addiction: num'n'nums. They are commonly found in trail mix. That's right...M & M's. She asked for them at least 20 times today, even first thing in the morning.

Well, other than Katy's meltdown in Walmart while we had the oil changed, today was rather uneventful. Hopefully we'll be 100% healthy for Jake's wedding this weekend.
