Well, Katy got to show Dad how much fun she can have in a teeny, tiny pool. She splashed and rolled over the edges and zoomed down the slide. Allen just sat there and watched. Then a puppy dog came out into a neighboring yard and distracted Miss Bird away from her pool duties.

There was more swimming for her at Sarah's house but I didn't catch any stellar shots. Hopefully Uncle John did and he can send me copies. We did have a mini photo shoot in Sarah's bathtub, and then again later the next day. It was so much fun for me, but I really had to work to get those ladies to smile. Katy altogether refused at one point so I gave up on her. I think she's had enough, and Emily specifically said, "No more photos". Later when Emily wanted to jump on Sarah's bed she said, "Come jump with me and I'll let you take my picture."

Laura and Emily showed Katy how to snap beans, and we were finding them all over the house after that. I wonder how that could have happened? And they also gave Katy the game "Lucky Duck" for her early birthday present. We were also finding those all over the house. They bounced pretty good on the tile floor.

Katy is due for her two year pics but she has 3 mosquito bites on her face so I'm trying to hold off for a bit. Instead I shot some of Mr. Allen. There are 1,000 things I should have been doing but my Mommy guilt kicked in. Luckily Delma is taking care of EVERYTHING for Katybird's upcoming party. What would I do without my friends?
