I have missed a ton of bloggable goodies, but I will throw out some photos and just a few memories from this past
week.
On Friday Mom and I took Katy to see the movie "Ratatoullie" as her first big-screen experience. Warren & Marjean watched Mr. Juicy because he's just not ready for this much excitement, yet. Katy had great big eyes as we walked in. It was the biggest "t.t." she had ever seen. Mom and I had to hold her folding seat down because otherwise Bird folded up into the chair. Then I poured a napkin full of popcorn and laid it on her lap. She immediately took the entire bag from me and started eating from that, instead. It was so tall that she had to reach almost above her head to take popcorn out. When the movie became too exciting for her, that little hand just froze in mid-air above the bag!
Katy sat through most of the movie and then towards the end she wandered around through the lower rows near the screen. When she came back up to our row, Mom and I almost fell out of our seats b/c she had knocked out a duece! Gross! I had to get creative b/c (in my false confidence) I didn't bring a diaper bag. Please forgive me, Cinemark. And Katy loved the experience so much that she is still asking for "that rat that eats and cooks". Now that she plays with her little plastic kitchen, she knows all about cooking. And she didn't learn it from me!
Allen's so funny when he takes his bath! He laughs out loud and it's so contagious! You can't help but laugh back at him. Katy then announces "baby's happy!" and she tickles him.
Today was pretty rough because Katy's had a fever since Saturday. After meds it drops to about 100 degrees, but it bounces back to 103.5 when those wear off. If she isn't better by tomorrow I'll have to take her to the doctor. The nurse hotline says it's probably just a virus. She was pretty puny on Saturday when Mom watched her while Peter and I went to see Harry Potter. Mom said she loved snuggling and playing the piano, which she now asks for all the time. Mr. Allen just napped the afternoon away at Warren & Marjean's house. They had to wake him up to make him eat! Talk about a good baby!

OK - I'm done for now. I'm sure I'll remember more later.

Sounds like she's a natural at the movies!
I wrote a long note about being troubled (ego-wise) in not being notified in time to pray for Sarah in her hour of concern; and then I realized that my God has no need of time, so my prayer can never be too late.
Now what about the Lake Palastine time, all of you---any of you?
Love, Daddy
