Hmmmm...my last post was Monday and now it's Thursday night. I have definitely been slacking. I've kicked Peter off the computer while he was working on our taxes so I could blog. At least that helps me feel devoted to the cause.

OK, on Tuesday we went to the park but I didn't get any stellar pics. Katy said "park" over and over and threw a big fit when it was time to go. She loved seeing all the puppy dogs, and the pond and saying "wheeeee" while she went down the slide. She even rode the twisty slide with Mommy! I definitely slowed her down. Katy wore her Dora the Explorer outfit from Kathy G. It is so cute! The shirt is a little short so her tummy shows, just like Dora's. I don't know if that's intentional, or coincidence.

Yesterday was a big day because we finally have Katy's new Social Security card on the way, with her updated last name! Wahoo! The process has been long and difficult, but with lots of time and effort from Uncle Keith, and a few tears from me in front of a crowded Social Security office, the card is on the way!

I had a photo shoot last night so Peter took Katybird for a lovely walk in the night air. He said they saw all kinds of interesting things along the way...birds, squirrels and of course - puppy dogs! Her favorite! My shoot was for Jake & Hillary's engagement pics. They are so adorable!

Today Katy and I were both feeling under the weather. Tonight she grabbed some newspaper ad off the coffee table and wadded it up. Then Peter says she looked at it closely and pulled it out straight, staring at it for a long time. Next she brought it to me and said, "Wazzat?" like she often does. It was an ad for Toys R Us!! She was pointing at a Bratz doll!!! Aunt Sarah must be so proud.

And finally, Miss Bird was looking too sweet in the tub tonight so we just had to capture the moment. That's it for now...
