Happy Halloween!!
I am exhausted so no photos tonight! It was one "party" after another today. We had a play date with Joy & Amy (Kaitlyn was a tootsie roll and Ava was a fairy princess). Then the Bird and I flew over to lunch with Ruth & Helen (Mexican - yum!). After that we drove to the church to meet up with the social worker to give her the maternity clothes Laura donated to the birth moms. Only one other person donated and her bag was small. I dragged out a huge trash bag full and the social worker got so excited! Thank you, Laura! Next we dropped by Peter's work, followed immediately by Mom's work. Then picked up Marjean, grocery shopped, returned Marjean home and arrived back at our home around 4:30pm. Whew! We were out and about having fun all day, but I should have worn more comfortable shoes. Peter met us at home and we trick or treated a few houses around here, then picked up a hitch hiker (Mom was walking to my house to meet us) and went to the church for our Trunk or Treat in the parking lot.
Mom was pretty worn out from walking to my house, but she was so much fun to introduce to everyone. Several people commented on how beautiful she is. Hmmm... Mom thought she recognized one of her med students so promptly assaulted him as he handed out candy. Now she's not sure it was the right guy. Ha ha! Peter went back to work (end of the month) and I took Mom home. Katy had fallen asleep but she woke up when I was unloading her so we walked over to show off to one more neighbor. Finally, I bathed Katy, fed her and dropped her into bed at 8:30pm. Her one nap today lasted 45 minutes and happened in the car. She is SUCH a good sport! Warren was supposed to be home by 8:00pm tonight but by then Katy was way past her prime. We'll have to dress her up tomorrow and trick or treat some more!
No news on Jessie the truck or on Dad's test results. I will keep you posted...or should I say "blogged"? I will keep you blogged.
