I'm doing Sat & Sun today. I cleaned a mobile home yesterday morning and it was the first cleaning job I've had in a while. Let's just sum it up by saying that a mobile home that's been foreclosed upon is one of the grossest things ever! Somehow Ruth & Helen made it fun - I don't know how they do it! Katy played with her Daddy for a bit and then went over to Warren & Marjean's house for a play date. Peter picked her up so I don't know what kind of adventures they had, but I'm sure they had some! Once I came home I was wasted for the rest of the day.
Then last night we had a dinner party to attend so Katybird went to play at Moochka's house. According to Mom & Grandma, Katy loves the Lawrence Welk show! She danced to the music and watched the singers intently. How hilarious is that?! She also picked up their paperback books and thumbed through the pages time after time. I wonder why? Just feeling the pages with her fingers...not looking for pictures or anything. Someday she'll deny this...but now it's recorded in her blog!
Today is Kathy Gore's birthday! Wahoo! I wish she was still living a few blocks away so I could kidnap her and whisk her away to Marble Slab for some sweet cream & strawberry ice cream! It's also a big day for me...because I was released as the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency! Yay! Now I only have one church calling and all is well! And Katy had a big day because she stayed in the church nursery for the entire time!

Tonight we watched the Super Bowl over at Jerry & Kathy's house. Nathan was visiting from his tour of duty in *classified* and he really is part of the family. It was fun to catch up with everyone. And Karli took some adorable pics for me because I was feeling lazy. Katy was walking around eating an apple and flirting with everyone, including Rico puppy. She shared her apple with him and he tried to jump up and lick her face. I wish I would have brought my video camera because they shared toys and played together so cute! Emily is loaning Katy some fancy red shoes and everyone seems to love them!
And finally, here are some recent pics that I don't think I shared yet. Katy fits perfectly in her China Town kimono from San Fran!
