Falling behind on the ol' blog is not much fun. Friday...wedding stuff all day. Chris & Amy drove into town for the reception and played with Katy that night. I didn't get to see much of anyone. Afterwards I met up with my old buddy Spy, then got up early for g-sales with Ruth, Helen and Spy. Next came the Big Event where Katybird's room finally got painted, the rain gutters were cleaned and the yard was raked. Yay! Amy and Mom kidnapped the Bird during that time and Mom ended up keeping her until about 4pm that day. After the Big Event I joined Spy, Juan & Kourtney at Ruth's house for some fishing. When I finally picked Katy up Mom reported that she had marched all over the yard a million times chasing Missy, who was following Mom. They were all pretty pleased with themselves, and Katy was filthy!! Too bad I didn't have a camera handy.

OK, Sunday she did ok in nursery but the rest of the day she was a bit of a tyrant. We went to Jerry & Kathy's house and she played with Rico, then we hit the bluebonnets with Jake & Hillary for their engagment pics. When Peter and I tried to get some family shots of our own, Miss Priss threw a royal fit! It wasn't pretty. Jake and Hillary's pics turned out really cute, though!

Today Katy was still kind of bossy but not as bad. "I wannit" seems to be her most popular demand. We finally moved her big bed into her room and put it together. She's asleep in it right now for the first time and her little body looks lost in that bed! We just hope she doesn't fall out of it during the night! So far the transition has been too easy.

That's it for now. I know I'm forgetting tons of cute Katybird things but that's what I get for not blogging for so long!
