Today is Mom's birthday so John, Katy, Grandma and I went out to take four generation pics. Yes, Mom didn't really want to have to get fixed up today but I made her anyway. I haven't even looked at the pics yet b/c I'm still editing wedding photos. I think 2.5 gig worth of wedding photos is a lot to have to edit. Then we had a lovely lunch at Cheddar's - Uncle John's treat! Grandma whipped out the gift certificate she won on Saturday and we told John about her good luck at the chocolate cookie store...I mean the clothing store.
Mom and Grandma watched Katybird while I was at the dentist and when I returned, they had just found Katy's diaper bag. She had a poopy diaper for an hour but they thought I had her bag with me and they all just suffered through it! They both admitted that Katy wears you down.
Life will return to normal (hopefully) after I take Grandma to Houston on Wednesday and put her on the plane. We will all miss her, but I know she is ready to be in her own home. She keeps saying that Katy won't recognize her the next time she sees her! We'll have to practice looking at pictures to remind her.
Tonight Katy asked for a bath verbally for the first time. She usually starts walking around signing that she wants one, but tonight she added the word "bath" with a little question mark dangling on the end. It was so cute that I just had to give her one right then and there! Even though "24" was on.
