Happy Thanksgiving!!
OK, so I'm a day late. Maybe Katy will never notice that I skipped journaling about her 2nd Thanksgiving. We bounced around from Mom's house in the morning to Jerry & Kathy's house where we had a fabulous feast! Then back to Mom's for another fabulous feast! Katy was a pilgrim at both places. I wanted her to be a turkey, but I just couldn't scrape a costume together.
Emily and Katy are fighting a lot over toys, and Peter pointed out that Mom's entire house is filled with toys so it's funny that they both want the same one. Sarah and Amy will never have kids if that's all they ever see.
One thing I'm thankful for this holiday season is that Dad pulled through his heart surgery and is now safely home again! He's grateful, too. I feel like we are truly blessed to have so much family (mine and Peter's) and that there is so much love.
Today had only one major event...A&M beat t.u.!!! Wahoo! Aggie fans everywhere are still in shock!
And the running joke this weekend is that Abby is such a good, quiet and self-contained baby we say that she is being "raised by wolves". All night tonight we've been calling Abby "RBW" because she just hangs out quietly in a corner somewhere and nobody ever really knows where she is....ok, that last part is an exaggeration. She is so sweet and happy...I'm sure I'll have photos to show later.
Anyway, all seems to be well for now except that Uncle John is "missing in action". He is missing Thanksgiving with us for the first time in 32 years. Luckily, he has a good excuse. He and his "special lady friend" are enjoying the beauty of Santa Fe. Bon Voyage!
