December is already passing by way too fast. I can't believe it's already 1/4th of the way through the month.
OK, today Amy F. stopped by and we chatted, but Kaitlyn and Katybird didn't really play much together. Amy told me about this new sippy cup that's almost like a bottle so I'm going to have to check it out. If Sarah and Amy would hurry up and pop out a baby I could share this kind of info with them, too. It looks like sippy cups won't even exist by the time those ladies are ready to try. Maybe I'll freeze their eggs for them as a Christmas gift?
Katy was bored while I worked on a Christmas project so she kept waving bye-bye and saying, "car" in a demanding tone. She is getting so grown up! We finally did run to one store and she had a ball - of course!
Tonight was the Christmas party for Peter's work. It was at the PC Country Club (PCCC - yo!) and even though we didn't win any prizes, it was a lot of fun. We finished off the night with a tour of Christmas lights from the back of a limo! One of Peter's co-workers has a limo connection and it was a nice treat. Warren and Marjean watched the Bird for us and we were at least an hour late picking her up. We thought we would be back around 9 or 9:30 but we didn't get there until 10:45, or so. And Katy was still awake! She was even in a good mood!
Tomorrow night should be fun b/c we're meeting Santa at Central Park. I will have to tell Katy all day to be good for Santa. Every other toddler I know has screamed and cried so I don't have my hopes up.
Should be fun!
