Happy Monday Night! Peter and I are about to fold clothes ...super exciting. Let's see...where does the time go?
Friday was a whirlwind of cleaning up for company. Sad but true...that's what it takes to get me motivated. Then that night I had a cleaning gig with Helen, Sheila and Ruth. They are just bags of fun! We had to use a commercial swing machine (VERY powerful) and buff the carpet glue off the floor of the old Wal-Mart building. There was a dead rat squished on the floor and a shopping cart (which I gave rides in) so even though the machine took the skin off my hands, I had fun. Plus we quit early and went to the Kettle for a biscuit with gravy - deeeeelish! We're currently planning how to get Sheila accepted on the show Deal or No Deal. She says she will make a deal at the first offer!
Saturday Jason & Delma arrived with their two little ones (Jonah and Baby Sister). Much like Katy, she does not know what her real name is. We did Pepe's and Christmas shopping and then relaxed at the house, which didn't stay clean for long. I would post photos but apparently the only time I snapped any pics was during their community bath. They were so cute splashing away in there! However, I know better than to put tub time pics on the net. For dinner that night Jason grilled up some steaks so we ate like kings all weekend!
Sunday brought us to church, and then I went with Delma and her kiddos to the Catholic church. It made me think that I need to bring Peter to the church I grew up going to. It would be neat to visit there again. Mainly I remember the deep windows and sneaking off to the bathroom to make the mass go by faster. That night I stopped by Mom's house to check out the lovely painting she's doing for me of Katy. It's exquisite! I can't wait for it to be done and hanging, but Mom is threatening that she doesn't like it.

OK, today I snapped a few Christmas dress photos. Katy's hair was not cooperating. All the curl is gone with no humidity. The plaid dress is from Dad to Katy last year at Christmas, and the red Santa dress is one of the three I bought for Emily, Abby and Katy to have matching photos this year. Christmas is my favorite time of year! The saddest day is the one after Christmas when it's another LOOOOONNGGG time until the big day comes again.
