After lunch we picked up Grandma and went all over town shopping and running errands. At the Dollar Store Grandma bought a plastic cow as a joke for Mom, who didn't believe for one minute that the cow cost over 50 cents! Then at Kroger's Grandma and I each had a chocolate covered strawberry - yum! They were handing out samples and as we walked away I asked Grandma for the leafy part of her strawberry to throw away, and she said it wasn't really the greenery - that it was candy. Hmmm...as we were leaving we strolled by to check and it was NOT candy. She ate the entire strawberry!! We laughed so hard and she couldn't wait to tell Mom that she already had her greens for the day!
Once we arrived at Mom's house she gave me the Victoria's Secret ad that came in the mail addressed to me. I haven't received mail there for at least 10 years, but it showed a gorgeous model with a naked torso in a skimpy pair of drawers. Katy saw the flyer, studied it for a moment and then immediately pulled up her dress to show off her belly button - over and over - very proudly! It was NOT a proud moment for me!
That's all I can think of for now, but I know Katybird is doing a lot of adorable new things every day. I can't keep up with her!
